I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to use my voice—not just for my own creative expression, but to amplify the voices that often go unheard. My journey into journalism and podcasting was driven by this calling, a desire to shine a light on the stories of everyday people and the issues that shape our world. Every time I sit down with my microphone or open my laptop to craft a new article, I remind myself that my work is more than just content—it’s a conduit for change, connection, and understanding.
Pursuing my Master’s in New Media Journalism at Full Sail University has been a transformative experience, both academically and personally. Immersed in an environment that values truth, inquiry, and innovation, I’ve learned how to harness the power of digital media to craft compelling narratives that challenge the status quo. This academic journey has not only honed my technical skills but has also deepened my commitment to ethical storytelling—a commitment to report with integrity, compassion, and honesty.
One of the most exciting chapters in my journey has been the creation of my podcast vlog, “My New Journey.” In this space, I document my academic and personal evolution, sharing insights into the challenges, breakthroughs, and inspirations that drive me forward. Each episode is a deep dive into topics ranging from faith and empowerment to the raw realities of everyday life, all delivered with a sincerity that I hope resonates with listeners. I believe that podcasting is an intimate medium—one that invites dialogue and nurtures a sense of community among its audience.
My work in journalism and podcasting is not just about narrating my own experiences—it’s about giving a platform to those whose stories often remain in the shadows. I strive to bring attention to social issues, celebrate the unsung heroes of our communities, and spark conversations that matter. In doing so, I remind myself and my audience that every voice is important, and that sharing our diverse experiences is essential to building a more inclusive and understanding world.
