Christopher “Tru” Hood
New Media Journalist, Multimedia Storyteller, and Founder of Tru Hood Studio LLC.
My Journey, My Purpose
I am Christopher Tru Hood—a visionary, a storyteller, a man of faith, and an artist who refuses to be placed in a box. My journey hasn’t been a straight path. It’s been filled with struggles and heartbreaks, but I’ve learned that purpose outweighs pain, and faith will always carry you through.
Music has always been more than a passion—it’s been my lifeline. I’ve had the honor of working with gospel legends like Fred Hammond and Deitrick Haddon. Filmmaking and storytelling became another way for me to express my vision. Through Tru Hood Studio, LLC, I’ve built a brand that allows me to capture real stories, raw emotions, and powerful messages.
“A child will never come to you and say, ‘Mommy and Daddy, how can I pay the bills today?’ They’re going to come to you and say, ‘Hey, I’m hungry.’”
I am here to break barriers, build bridges, and create a legacy that stands the test of time. I am a mentor, a father, a husband, a son, and an entrepreneur with a mission: to use my God-given talents to inspire others.
